Radio Ad

My radio advertisement is now complete. I used the software called Audacity to create it. I chose this dancy track to fit with my young audience.

Contents Page

My contents page so far looks like this. I kept with the toned down pink theme, similar to the cover.

Double Page Article

My article page so far looks like this. I still have images to add and I will most likely re-arrange text to ensure there are no bland looking areas on the page. I chose a gold background to fit with the glittery eye makeup tutorial and kept my text colours quite simple to make it easy to read and to make it look professional and classy.

I have written a step by step tutorial of how to get the desired makeup look and will add images to go alongside each step. All of my photographs will be edited on Photoshop to give them a high quality effect.

Cover Update

I have stuck mainly to white text to contrast against the background. I also think white has quite a professional 'non-tacky' look to it which can reflect my magazine.

At the moment I have gone for a burgandy pink colour for the masthead. This is because the target audience is female and pink automatically relates to females. However, I didn't want it to be a bright, barbie pink as that could give the wrong impression of my magazine. A bright pink would be suited to a young tween audience however as my product is aimed at older teens to 20's so I toned down the colours.

Draft Radio Advertisement Script

This is my first draft of my radio advertisement script.

Cover

My cover so far looks like this. I chose white font as it complimented the background best. I kept it to one colour as it makes the cover look more polished and professional.
